The one who bounces the card works
A small, rectangular object that is the best guardian of any employee’s punctuality is it? His individual, personal, plastic card.
Better than an alarm clock in the morning, more convincing than fresh rolls from the supermarket for which you would like to slope off the road to work, more effective than a supervisor who can enter at any time as you extend the break. It is selectively designed, pocket-sized, convenient to use and, horribly, synchronized with a system that records employee activity.
What does this mean in practice?

Mr. bodyguard at school was replaced by a system for flipping student and teacher cards, a lady in the gym issuing keys was replaced by intelligent cabinets that can be coded by yourself and the supervisor can sip coconut juice in flip-flops in Central Asia on vacation to know that the employee did not come at 8 : 00, just ran before 9:00. Such access control cards are used in the gates of office buildings, entrance doors, employee canteens, parking lots, internal passages sometimes reserved for privileged persons – in a word, wherever it is necessary to ensure quick and error-free identification of a person.
What information does this card provide?
Each employee is equipped with a private card according to the pattern and functionality adopted by the company – magnetic stripe swipe card, smartcard, RFID identification, contactless proximity Mifare card or even a more handy version of the pendant, on which his personal data is. Each time the card is used, the system will mark its break in work, entry / exit times. Sounds like full surveillance, but it’s an illusion – employers practice technological solutions to have a statistical picture of their people’s behavior and watch extremely undesirable situations, e.g. chats for several hours, offenses, theft, etc. Dependence also works the other way and with a base of distinguished people we can catch an additional bonus or other bonuses for regular cooperation.
“Must have” morning layette

Company policy can be restrictive and if such a card was not reflected because, for example, it stayed in the apartment and all day had to count on colleagues to provide access, it will not be surprising if the employer finds that we have granted ourselves a day off. It is worth remembering and putting it in an honorable place or hanging the card on a lanyard. Oh, and the problem is resolved.
